Grave Rumors Downloads… And More

The perfect companion to the Arkham Horror Roleplaying Game

If you’ve been following the Grave Rumors series of short stories, you’ll know that as well as the stories themselves, we’ve been offering up downloadable versions of the Arkham Advertiser and several mysterious drawings from the stories for you to use as players handouts in your games.

Today, we’re bringing you the complete set of Grave Rumors handouts as a free downloadable PDF to use in your games of Hungering Abyss, and with three additional handouts to boot.

These additional handouts are pages taken from Welcome to Arkham – a venerable guide to the city of Arkham and its environs, produced by the Arkham Historical Society, describing the city’s most significant locations. In the downloadable handout pack you’ll find entries for the Graveyard of Christchurch Cemetery, St. Mary’s Hospital and Velma’s Diner.

The entries are completely spoiler-free. As a game master, you might want to hand these out to your players to introduce these locations as you encounter them in your games, or as players you might want to read through them between games to become more familiar with the city and its landmarks, like a true citizen of Arkham.

These entries are just three of those found in the book Welcome to Arkham, published by Aconyte Books (by agreement with the Arkham Historical Society, of course). The book describes more than 100 key locations not only in Arkham itself, but in Dunwich, Innsmouth and Kingsport, too. Written from an in-universe perspective, the book brings each of these places to life in evocative detail, but without risking spoilers for any of your adventures, making it an ideal companion for anyone exploring Arkham and its surroundings, whether as players or game masters.

Welcome to Arkham is published by Aconyte Books and available now. And you can be sure Aconyte – and the Arkham Historical Society – will be bringing you more exciting new content for fans of Arkham Horror and players of the Arkham Horror Roleplaying Game soon…
